ANY BLOOMING THING (FLORIST & GIFTS - BLOOMINGDALE)
If you’re looking for a qualified Asphalt Contractor to manage a really complex job, consider this project a testament to our abilities to deliver quality results on time and within budget. We worked closely with our client to understand their needs and preferences, and the success of the outcome speaks for itself.
We cleaned and edged the parking lot to remove St. Augustine grass that had covered the edges and encroached on the pavement. We widened and paved the driveway entrance into the parking lot. We did hot mix asphalt patching by cutting out areas with alligator cracking and potholes, and laying new asphalt in place for a permanent repair. We raised a low spot that had become a water ponding point in the middle of the parking lot. We applied hot pour rubberized crack filler to fill in all pavement cracks greater than 1/8" to prevent further damage and decay. We applied two coats of airport grade coal tar sealer to seal and protect the pavement for years to come. (We use name brand seal coating products from companies like Sealmaster for high quality results.) Once all patching and protection was in place, we added parking lines and stripes for a safe and orderly traffic flow.
Throughout the project we worked in a manner so as to not impede or interfere with the daily business of our client. The end result was a professionally finished job on time and within budget and more importantly, a satisfied client. MURPHY OIL MART (ABERCORN ST, SAVANNAH)
This project was a layout and stripe on a newly constructed gas station next to Walmart on Abercorn St. This job also included an asphalt patch of approximately 250 square feet to repair an area of adjacent parking lot that had to be dug up to connect a water main.
This particular project required us to be very thorough in order to meet various compliance measures and ensure our work followed stringent industry standards. This was completed on time and within budget. It’s a great example of our dedication to deliver a quality product and see it through from start to finish despite complications in order to ensure full client satisfaction. AMC THEATER (STEPHENSON AVE, SAVANNAH)
This project encompassed cleaning and re-striping approximately 100k square feet of parking lot. Additionally, we had curbing to paint, signs to replace, and some concrete work to repair some previous damage.
While working on this project, we were very strict about the footprint of our work. Our client was open for business daily and wanted to minimize our impact on operations so we worked over night to ensure we did not disrupt their business. We completed the job on time without disrupting our client's daily business operations. COMPASSION CHRISTIAN CHURCH (RINCON)
This project highlights our ability to quickly respond to customer requests and meet a desired timeline in an economically efficient way.
We cut and removed the most badly damaged areas of asphalt in the back parking lot. We brought in approximately 5 tons of new hot mix asphalt and installed it to ensure a lasting permanent solution. ALIVE CHURCH (BLOOMINGDALE, GA)
This project was a 100k square foot parking lot that was approximately 8-9 years old and in need of routine maintenance to extend its useful life and prevent pre-mature failure of the pavement. The pavement had become brittle from almost a decade of enduring full sunlight and UV breakdown in the hot summers. There were large linear cracks in places that would have eventually become pot holes, and the lines and paint markings had faded from years of wear.
We cleaned to pavement of all loose sand and pebbles, ensured the cracks were clean and ready for hot pour crack filler. Following cleaning, we applied hot pour (applied at approximately 350 degrees) rubberized crack filler to permanently repair them and seal out water. Once the crack filler had cured, we applied two coats of airport grade coal tar sealer to rejuvenate and renew the moisture and flexibility of the asphalt. The inherent elasticity of asphalt allows it to expand and contract with temperature changes without cracking. As it dries out over time, it loses this elasticity and that leads to cracking and pre-mature failure. Once this restoration process was completed and cured, we painted the parking stripes and markings for handicapped parking and access.
