CRACK FILLING, POTHOLE REPAIR, & PATCHING

Whether Concrete or Asphalt, cracks are unsightly and can get expensive to repair if ignored for too long.  They can quickly become pot holes which may cause damage to vehicles and create pedestrian hazards which increase your liability as a property owner. That's why it's best to repair cracks as soon as they form. Cracks can accumulate debris and dirt and can start to grow weeds. If you do not repair the cracks, water will enter into the asphalt's foundation and erode the base. Left untreated, this results in potholes and depressions, which will lead to extensive damage and costly repairs.  Fixing cracks before they become potholes is the smartest thing to do to extend the life of your asphalt or concrete paving. Putting off repair work will only lead to more damage and possibly even the need for costly asphalt or concrete removal and replacement.

We repair potholes and pavement cracks.  We  clean out the dirt and debris and apply the appropriate patch material depending on the size and location of the holes.  We repair asphalt cracks with hot-pour rubberized crack sealer to completely fill cracks and seal your asphalt against water and ice deterioration. Our crack filler contains a higher polymer content than ASTM specifications call for. As a result it remains firm yet flexible, allowing it to keep the crack sealed throughout the wide range of temperatures that we see yearly. It performs well in all climates.  We apply crack filler at a temperature of approximately 350°F.  This allows the liquified material to thoroughly penetrate the cracks and bond to the surrounding asphalt surfaces for a long-lasting repair that can expand and contract with temperature changes.

If your asphalt job requires a more extensive approach, we can take care of it with professional results.  Cutting out bad pavement and replacing it with new hot mix asphalt permanently repairs potholes and alligatored cracking.  If it's concrete slab, or curb and gutter, we cut the bad section out and pour or rebuild it as appropriate.  Our replacement process includes drilling into the good concrete and inserting rebar (doweling) so the new concrete becomes a securely joined part of the existing concrete.  We do  all of this and more.  Call us today for a free estimate.
