The asphalt and concrete parking lot at your business is the welcome mat for your customers. It is the first and last thing they see when visiting, and it can impart a lasting impression. The repeated expansion and contraction cycles that occur with temperature changes can cause small surface cracks to form. As traffic and weather act on these surface cracks, they begin to grow larger until they are deep cracks that expose the base of your asphalt and concrete to the effects of rain which can then erode the base and further aggravate the problem. As the base erodes and traffic continues to put weight and stress on these cracks, they may eventually become holes. Sometimes this occurs more rapidly than you would think.
The good news is that regular maintenance will not only keep it looking great and extend the service life of your asphalt and concrete, but it also costs substantially less over time than total removal and replacement.
Asphalt maintenance is quite simple and cost effective. It's probably even tax deductible for business properties. Regularly crack filling and seal coating every two to three years not only gives your asphalt a brand new look, but it can also greatly extend the useful life of your asphalt. Once we have renewed your asphalt and/or concrete parking lot, we will re-stripe everything to ensure a smooth traffic flow and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The new stripes and pavement markings really make it "pop". If you need something more durable, we can also apply Thermoplastic markings to comply with city right of way requirements if appropriate.
